Kelebek Adası. Sarah Jıo’nun 1918 ile 2037 yılları arasında değişik tarihlerde yaşanmış çeşitli hikâyelerin anlatıldığı romanı. Bütün hikâyeler, bir kaza sonucu adaya düşen ve orada iki yıl hayatta kalmayı başaran romanın asıl kahramanları ile bir noktada birleşiyor. 279 sayfa. Aldatılma, çaresizlik, yalnızlık, esaret, umut, öfke, aşk… Hepsinden biraz var bu romanda.
Yazar, romanın sonunda on beş tane soru yöneltiyor okura. Soruların hemen hepsi hikâye ile ilgili. Bana göre en ilginç olan soru:
“Kitap boyunca iyi ve kötü arasında bir mücadele var. Kötüyü en çok temsil eden karakterler hangileriydi? Peki ya iyiyi?”
İyi ve kötünün kişiye, duruma, hissettirdiklerine göre değiştiği bir hayatı yaşıyorken “doğru cevap bu” demek çok zor.

“Zor bir soru” dedi. “Güzel bir biftek, bol tereyağlı fırında

Efsaneye
göre bu kelebekler, değişimin habercisidir. Olurda gün doğumunda yolunuzu bir mavi kelebek keserse, bilin ki artık hayatınız
eskisi gibi olmayacaktır. Belki bambaşka
biri girer hayatınıza. Belki bambaşka bir yerde uyanırsınız. Ya da ilk kez adımınızı attığınız bir yerde kendinizi hiç olmadığınız kadar huzurlu ve evinizde hissedersiniz. Kaybolurken bulunursunuz.
Geldiğinizi sanırken gittiğinizi görürsünüz. Hayata başka bakarsınız mavi

Butterfly
Island. Sarah Jio's novel of various stories from 1918 to 2037. All the stories
unite at one point with the original heroes of the novel who have fallen into
an accidental island and managed to survive there for two years. 279 pages.
Despair, helplessness, loneliness, bondage, hope, anger, love ... There is a
little bit of this romance.
The
author leads fifteen questions at the end of the novel. Almost all of the
questions are about the story. The most interesting question for me is:
"There
is a struggle between good and evil throughout the book. What were the most
representative characters of the bad? Is he okay? "
It is
very difficult to say "this is the right answer" while living a life
that is good and bad according to the person, situation, feelings.

the next day, I asked, "What is the first thing you eat when you get
home?"
"It's a tough
question," he said. "A nice steak, plenty of buttery potatoes."
I said "Butter"
with a longing voice.
"No," he continued.
"I would go to my favorite Turkish restaurant and order kebab and

"Have you ever been
to Istanbul?"
"No, but I wanted to
go. Have you ever gone? "
"Yes," he said.
